Hello,
by contact with a table corner I chipped away the "On/Off" Switch. It seems to be only clued to the board. Luckily the switching mechanism is only a small plate of metal that (by pressing the button) short-circuts a circular area on the board.
This can be easily faked by cleaning the remaining parts and using a small wire to shortly re establish contact between the outer ring and the middle knob.
