One of quad engines still running while on battery

Hi,

I assambled my new crazyflie quadcopter and maybe I did something wrong (or possibly damaged something). Immediately I connect the battery (without even pushing the power button) engine four starts running . The other three are good, they only slightly move after turning on. What can I do about it

I will post pictures of my soldiered board when I get to better camera than iphone. Have you solved the issue in the thread you linked? There is no solution at the end.

It was actually the MOSFET that was broken (partially shorted) so there is a chance that is the problem with your CF as well but it might also be a shorted soldering. Post some good quality pictures and we can probably tell.

Ok, and what if the MOSFET is broken... Is there a chance I can get another one, or do I have to buy another one?

If it is a manufacturing problem you should get a replacement or get it fixed for free. Seeedstudio is responsible for the HW so open a support case with them in that case.

Do you have access to a multimeter? If you have you can try measuring the resistance like described in this post.

Hi, I have the same issue on M4. Except its after hard crash. I have unsoldered M4 and just by putting the black and white circuits on M4 holes with battery mounted will will turn on M4 without powering crazyflie. Thanks if any solutions.
