Since you are using the on RAM flashing, (make run), then ctrl c will close that session and stop the process. So by the time you start the viewer, it already stopped.
You need to either flash the gap8 fully (make flash) or while this terminal is one with the onram session on, you open a new terminal for just the python viewer

Also don't forget to connect to the wifi of the aideck. That is necessary for the viewer too.
