Updated 3D models

Post by alex »

Hey guys,

just downloaded the 3D models from the repository in order to assemble them in SolidWorks. Unfortunately, the motor mounts are outdated and I am encountering problems when importing the control board sketch. Since the outer edges are some kind of misshaped (double lines with circles in it) I'm not able to create a solid model from it. The motor and propeller models are just fine.

Please, could someone provide updated data for the motor mounts and a 3D model for the control board, if possible? SLDPRT files would be most suitable as I am using SolidWorks. Thanks for your input!

Hi Alex,

The first problem with the current motor mount is that we don't have access to the design as it is made by Seeedstudio and the moulder so we wount be able to share it. The second problem is that KiCad is not good at exporting the shape. I have tried several times without any good result and the uploaded file is currently the best I can do :(.

Ok, then I have to caliper the control board by myself and rebuild it in SolidWorks. The same procedure for the motor mounts. Maybe someone has already done this work?
Thanks for the info anyway.

I have uploaded the gerber file of the outline. Maybe it is possible to do something with that such as converting it to dxf.

Hello Alex,
i made SolidWorks models because i'm working on a "safety cage" for cf.
I'm still looking for the measurements of the battery, maybe you can help me.
Is the thickness of the pcb of 1.6mm right?
I'll share the models as soon as i got the above information.
The picture shows cf rendered from SWX.
