X Mode

Hello,

Has anyone tried X Mode lately, I checked the box but it seems to have no effect ?

I am not using the installer version, but repositories.. however this version still should work (anyone can confirm this issue?)
..When u check that box, what does the python console say? It should print: "INFO:cfclient.ui.tabs.FlightTab:Clientside X-mode enabled: True"

It sure does but nothing changes with regards to the way it flies...

Hmm, that's strange. The client-side X-mode should work with any firmware since the client will transform the set-points for roll/pitch so the platform will orient itself like an X. If you look at this image you can see the "front" orientation of the platform in X-mode. So if you only change the pitch the platform should not move towards M1 but instead diagonally between M1 and M4.

Sounds like a bug. So if you just change focus to something else (without changing any value) does it work then?
