Hello,
I tried to use my MC24 to fly the Crazyfie but there is an error during the controller configuration in the crazyflie client. The MC24 controller is attached to the PC using a Aerosim RC USB cable.
The assignment of Thrust, Yaw, Pitch and Roll works fine, but then I cannot save the configuration. It seams as if there is the need to add the buttons for trim Nick+/-Roll +/- and/or Killswitch & Exit app. Is there a workaround to save the settings without adding these button?
Maybe as additional information: The device setting window of the USB adapter in Windows shows that there should be 8 buttons but all I move on the RC-remote, none of these buttons are flashing. The only things that work are the sliders (this means the throttle, yaw, nick, roll and other potentiometers)
Maybe someone has an idea?
Thanks
Thomas

Hi Thomas,
The latest version of the client fixes this error. Then it's only mandatory to map the 4 analog axis before saving the configuration. You can find the latest version here. There's still no Windows installer for the latest version but you can download the source for 2013.4.2.

Thanks for the information,
unfortunately I am not so experienced in compiling Python, so I'll wait for the next installer.

I think you don't have to compile it.. am I wrong?
Re: Input Device Configuration: Graupner MC24
Basically all you need to do is to install the pre-requisites listed here, download the source code from the link above and run the client from the command prompt.
Hopefully we will have time this week to update the windows installer.
