Out of control yaw with crazyflie1.0

Post by dpara »

Hi,

I just started with my Crazyflie but have problems with out of control yaw from simple thrust.

I am reasonably certain I soldered my motors/rotors as described, but before I start experimenting with switching all cables, I want to ask if that might be something else?

Just increasing thrust causes the following accelImage

as can be seen, very quickly m1 and m3 are just turned off, causing a lot of spin.

Yes it looks like the motors are turning in the wrong direction. Please double check with the diagram.

If that is the case you can always change the code to work with propellers turning the wrong way. I think it should be enough to remove the minus sign on the yaw on this line.
