My Raspberry Pi turns off every time I plugin the crazyradio dongle.
What is the initial current draw? Did anyone else experience this issue?
I'm using a 2A power supply, so in theory current should not be a problem... :/

Re: Raspberry Pi turns of when plugging in Crazyradio
Are you using the Crazyradio PA or the original Crazyradio? I never had trouble with the original Crazyradio on my RasPi B (haven't tried with the PA yet), but I always had reset troubles with my WiFi dongle (had to use a hub).

Re: Raspberry Pi turns of when plugging in Crazyradio
Does it reset or does it power off and won't go on again? I haven't tested it yet with the Raspberry Pi, but I've seen this behavior with some USB memories I've used. I'm not sure about the initial current, but with the PA the system will probably consume 1-200 mA when using the radio (scanning and communicating). Even though you have a good power supply the Pi might not handle the initial current so the voltage will drop and the system reset.dbrgn wrote:My Raspberry Pi turns off every time I plugin the crazyradio dongle.

When I'm back at the office after Christmas I'll try with the Crazyradio PA.

Re: Raspberry Pi turns of when plugging in Crazyradio
It's the new Crazyradio that came with the Crazyflie 2.0, so I assume it's the PA version
It does a reset, not a poweroff.
