[SOLVED] Cannot get PS3 controller to work

Please tell me exactly how you arrived at the two screens that you showed me, step by step, from boot-up to when you plugged in your PS3 controller into the USB port, to when you run the client (if you even have to) so I am doing everything that you do in the same order. Thanks.

By the way, I believe I have seen the first screen, but I have never encountered the second one.

If I remember correctly I think the youtube video displays the steps to get to the game controller properties screen. Yes I remember correctly, it does, from 2.00 min into the video.

In the early AM, I decided to uninstall both the libUSB abd the MotioninJoy drivers. I reinstalled MotioninJoy (because that seems to be the one that supports multiple plartforms and specifies "dualshock3". It instslled smoothly this time, but not exactly as in the documentation. I am not sure that I could repeat the steps that I took, but I did get the PS3 installed, and configured. I was even able to briefly test fly the Crazyflie! Many thanks for your advice and sticking with me. On start-up today the client can't access the "Generic" configuraration, but I will start a new posting for this one.
