Crosswind tethered kite crazyflie? like makani wind?

Hi I wonder about crosswind tethered kites like makani wind power and other similar designs mentioned in loyds crosswind kite power paper.
Does the crazyflie work with waypoints? Would it be able to direct a tethered glider in a crosswind circle or figure 8?
