Hi idahogae,

I just tested with the same virtualbox on Windows 10 and it boots fine. What is giving the error, is it Virtualbox or is it inside the virtualmachine?

Do you have other virtual machine engine installed like Hyper-V? This is something that could make Virtualbox fail.

For reference I downloaded the VM with latest torrent: http://files.bitcraze.se/dl/Bitcraze_VM ... va.torrent. Downloading with the torrent is the safest since it checks for the file checksum while downloading.

I tried redownloading the vm using torrent -- same exact result

I also tried to use download the windows client but it seems to have a bug where it doesn't recognize usb controllers. (viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2101&p=10688&hilit= ... ice#p10688)

All I am trying to do is run some client (any client) to turn on and off the headlight on the LED deck. Any suggestions without having to become a VM expert?

thanks for the help

Glenn

For running the client on windows a bug has been fixed recently, if you download a recent build the input device will work: https://github.com/bitcraze/crazyflie-c ... -248257877.

What about my other questions:
1- Where was the error, in a separate window from VirtualBox of from within the virual machine (ie. in linux)?
2- Are you running any other visualizer on the computers like vm-ware or virtualbox?

I think I know why the "Kernel Panic" pops up. I was having the same error, but found out my chipset doesn't support visualiztion technology. And you need that for Window 8 and above or any 64 OS. Apparently Virtual Box needs VT to run other guest.

If you don't have the chipset:
