Hello!
Here is the last family hack over the weekend, with my son (14) doing all the mechanical and soldering!
Arduino + nRF24L01 radio + hacked PS1 controller + CrazyFlie 2.0 = lots of fun!!
It is 100% open-source of course. The code is at https://github.com/jpihet/crazyflie-arduino-controller, based on tbitson's controller code.
A few pics:
Have fun!
Arduino + nRF24L01 radio + PS1 controller for Crazyflie 2.0

That is very cool, very good job!
We definitely have to try making one.
Thanks for sharing.

Re: Arduino + nRF24L01 radio + PS1 controller for Crazyflie
What a great build! The idea of harvesting a PS1 controller is just awesome!
Would like to hear a bit how the controller performs. Does it behave ruffly the same as e.g. a PS3 controller?
Would you like to put the build log on the wiki (I've sent you a user name to the wiki in a PM)? If not, can we do it when we get some time over?

Did you implement the enhanced shock burst protocol in the communication with the radio device and the crazyflie 2.0 ?
