[SOLVED] Impossible to connect using the example file

Hello,

I am currently using a downloaded version of the client on the bitcraze github. (develop branch, latest commit)
I have an old crazyflie 1 and My os is OS X10.10 on a Mac laptop.
The client with the GUI works fine I manage to connect and control my crazyflie without problem.
However, when I am running the example files (basiclog.py, ramp.py), it does not manage to connect to the crazyflie: I see

and then it hangs for ever without issuing anything more. I usually have to force quit the terminal then.
I am a bit puzzled about this and am looking for suggestions for what to do.

Hi,

I actually fixed this problem by flashing the latest version of the crazyflie firmware I could find (2015-1). Did not think to do it earlier.
