Hi,
I have faced problem with PC client version 2014.12.2 & 2014.12.3. I can't map controller, there is no response from the application when I am moving controller shifters.
I dont have this problem with version 2014.12.1. Seems since it is required for mapping move shifter min and max instead just max during mapping the problem occurs.
My controller is Speedlink Torid wireless gamepad (compatibile with PS3 and PC).
I would like to use the most updated client. Could you help?
Thanks in advance,
S

make sure the controler is plugged in and recognized by the os before starting the client

What OS are you running on, are you using the VM, and have you tried the gamepad with a PS3 or compatible PC game/program other than the client to ensure the pad is registering properly?Sebalos wrote:Hi,

Re: [CF2] PC client 2014.12.3 mapping issue
I have Win7 and gamepad is properly recognized. The proof for that is Steam recognize it and switch to gamepad mode.
Edit.
Another sympton I just found is that after I will click on"configure device mapping" seems signal from controller shifters is not received - no values in Target. But before I will do that I notice values changing in Target.

Another proof gamepad is correctly installed and seen by OS is that I can fly using ready templates such as PS3_Mode_1 and it works perfectly but if just want to choose "configure device mapping" seems values in Target are frozen on 0 level and nothing happen. :/

I have this exact problem also.

Re: [CF2] PC client 2014.12.3 mapping issue
Bug confirmed, we will investigate.
A current workaround for xbox controller (maybe PS3 as well) is to use the xbox360_mode1_linux.json config file as a base and manually edit the text file. Open the config folder from cfclient->Settings->Open config folder and find the file.

Same problem here.
I can fly the crazyflie with my Bluetooth game-pad. But i cannot re map the device i.e. assign a button to a function e.g. alt hold.
OS Win7
