So I got my spare power switches and re soldered one on there. When I sodered off one of the sides, the whole metal piece came out (pretty sure I needed a smaller tip for better contact

). It exposed the black board so there was only one metal piece to soder to. I doubt I am getting good contact for the power switch to actually function like it did originally because it still behaves the same. Everything works fine until I unplug the CF from the usb. The whole board looses power and the power switch does not turn it back on. The client indicates the battery is full, so is there another alternative to fixing this?
I was eventually going to mount a FPV camera too this, so any solution would have to factor that in as a future addition. I'm pretty new to the CF so if you could offer detailed alternative solutions that would be much appreciated. I'd prefer to not have a random power button elsewhere, but I guess I'll do what I gotta do.

Can a power switch be soldered to P8 in the component_placement_top_annotated.pdf to solve this issue?
