Hi, forum,
I am trying to manufacture my own deck. But I could not find where to buy the 2mm pitch SMD female socket connector. I found this one (https://www.sparkfun.com/products/10030) which is quite similar except that the directions of the pins are opposite to the deck PCB template or the real existing decks.
I would be grateful if anyone has bought that component before and can provide some links.
Thanks.
Where to buy deck female socket
Re: Where to buy deck female socket
They can be found in the bitcraze store or have a look if local distributors have them.
Re: Where to buy deck female socket
Dear Bitcraze,
Is there also a way to buy these connectors via standard distributors like Digikey, Mouser, etc? I guess you're not manufacturing them on your own It'd be great to know the manufacturer and Manufacturer Part Number.
The reason I can't buy them via your store is that the PCB assembly house I use wants to source all parts on their own and hence needs a MPN.
Thanks,
Michael

Re: Where to buy deck female socket
They are actually manufactured to our specification but I now there are compatible variant out there. Can't point to it though.
Re: Where to buy deck female socket
Thanks Tobias! Ok I'll then just mark them as DNP and hand solder.
