Hello All
I am planning to implement this system on a larger scale than is achievable at the moment. Arnaud helped me with a previous post that leads to this one. viewtopic.php?f=11&t=2174 Please note I am new to the CF system and quadcopter's in general I am waiting for my first to arrive in the post as I type.
Even though its not there yet and I am not sure I will be able to handle the work load I will assume on the positive side of each.
1. If i were to be setting up the locoP system to travel 30 meters with multiple Flies, would added anchors assist the system or create problems?
I was thinking 8 along the open route, or is 6 enough?
2. Is there enough accuracy right now to get the Flie in to a 1 X 1 meter opening every flight? If so how about 4 Flies?
3. Would I be better off using kenect tracking since its been a bit more tested? (it will be in a dimly lit room actually it will be quite dark with possible other lights interfering)
any and all opinions welcome and appreciated

Re: Pre Loco Positioning questions
Hi,
1. This is untested, we think 30m range is a good estimate for the anchor range but we have not tuned it for range yet and have observed closer to 10m. The manufacturer of the radio specify almost 300m range so there is good hope
. Putting more anchors on the way should work well with ToA measurement (ie. while running a limited amount of copters, what we are doing right now).
2. To be tested
. If the system is calibrated, passing throw a 1x1m opening should be ok. Though the performance non-line-of-sight is not as good so it is very important that the Crazyflie ranges as much as possible with line-of-sight of the anchors.
3. For Crazyflie the LPS is much more tested than the Kinect and will be much better in you lightning situation. I would be mostly worried about the smoke, light interference should be minimal with Kinect 2.
