Hey Bitcraze
Probably going to pick up a bigquad expansion deck. Was wondering if you could post info about the peripherals (motors, escs, battery, etc) you're using to develop the software.
Thanks
Sean

Hi!
We are working on a wiki page (https://wiki.bitcraze.io/projects:crazy ... ds:bigquad) for this. Since the Big Quad deck is in "Early access" state (see https://www.bitcraze.io/early-access/), all software and documentation is not complete yet, but you are more than welcome to contribute.

Hey, thanks Kristoffer. I see the 'reference design' section still hasn't been populated. Do you guys have a reference design in mind? My bigquad deck just showed up and I'd love to get some input about what parts you're using for development -- easier to swim upstream if I get the same components

I see your point
@tobias do you have any input on this?

Re: bigquad "golden" hardware
I think the easiest might be to buy a ARF (Almost Ready to Fly) kit, e.g a 250 racer drone kit or similar and then hook up the BiqQuad deck there. The quads we have built have been from parts lying around so it is not so good to use as a reference setup.
The PWM output from the BiqQuad deck should be compatible with about all ESC that take a PWM input. The default PWM frequency output of the BiqQuad deck is 400Hz which might have to be configured lower if old ESC are used (50Hz).
