Hi,
I am working on a project of controlling crazyflie swarm. Instead of sharing radio channel across multiple crazyflie, I am planning to replace the radio communication with Wifi by adding a serial to Wifi module (ESP8266), so that we can have higher update rate. I saw this has been done by adding a Wifi deck here.

But no product or code has been released yet. I am new to the crazyflie development community. Anyone has any suggestions on how to interface crazyflie with this serial to Wifi module (ESP8266)?
Thanks,
Li

Re: Crazyflie with Wifi module (ESP8266)
Hi Li!
The ESP8266 deck is more or less ready but I'm still not sure when it will be available. A rough guess is in two months. However I'm not so sure the ESP8266 will be a solution to controlling a swarm. The nRF51 radio can do that quite well and if you don't wan't to share channels you can have more crazyradios. E.g. here they fly 33 CF2 at the same time. To bad they don't want to share their implementation though...
If you tell us a bit more about what you would like to achieve we can try to help you out.

Re: Crazyflie with Wifi module (ESP8266)
Hi there,
When would the Wifi module be released?
Would it be released around this June or July since its around 2 months from April?
