Re: What should happen when I turn it on?
Been a while - been travelling for work. Managed to get home for a couple of days - so answering the question, I looked at the schematics and D2 says it's BAT54, but whenever I look online for BAT54 (which appears to be a Schottky barrier diode,BAT54 0.2A 30V), there are three leads on it. The ones ...

Re: What should happen when I turn it on?
Fortunately the motor was not fried. Unfortunately when I took the diode off the board, there is infinite resistance on the diode in both directions. Can anyone tell me what diode D2? Maybe I can replace it and get my board fully working..

Re: What should happen when I turn it on?
Thanks for that, atomicdog. I have attempted to re-wire accordingly. It still doesn't power M2 on startup, though.. Doing some checks with the multimeter, I noticed that across D1, D3 and D4 I get 2.5 ohms resistance, but across D2 I get about 0.1-0.2. Even to my untrained mind, this must be a probl...

Re: What should happen when I turn it on?
Since I messed up the contacts for the motor, I'm going to try and work around them. Looking at the schematics, pin 1 from M2 goes to D2 so I've soldered the wire directly there. Now, pin 2 goes to the "D" of Q2, but I just wondered if someone can tell me which pin is "D"? lookin...

Re: What should happen when I turn it on?
Ok, I'm about to give up on this board. I can't get the solder to stick to the board since there's no pad for it to stick to.
Is it possible to buy just a replacement board rather than the whole kit? And if so, anyone know how much?
Cheers,
KEv.

Re: What should happen when I turn it on?
Thanks, guys. I made sure there weren't any shorts. I managed to get M3 working but the connections for M2 are pretty much melted away. I'm going to buy some smaller tips for the iron, and a big magnifying glass. Take off the connections for M2, see if I can scrape back some lacquer (is that right?)...

What should happen when I turn it on?
I've made a bit of a mess of my crazyflie when soldering the motors on, due to impatience and using far too big a tip. I don't have a PS3 controller yet so I haven't been able to test-fly it; I was hoping I could test fire the motors from the PC software :) When I switch it on, M1 and M4 spin. I am ...
