Analog supply current capability

Hello,

I am planning to power a few LED's from the analog supply (VCCA).
The voltage regulator can handle 200mA but is it safe to actually draw this much current with the cooling provided by the PCB?
How much current does the Crazyflie itself draw from the analog supply?

Regards,
Daniel

Hi,

I would not touch the VCCA as it powers all the analog circuits and you will probably inject noise there.

If you are adding LEDs I would use the VCOM voltage and adjust the resistors for the higher voltage. Will go to 5V when you connect the USB cable and become the battery voltage otherwise. Also make sure to use 5V tolerant pins but I think all of them the expansion pins are except for the JTAG.
