I manage to pass the data to the the Bitcraze VM 0.5 using virtualbox after setting up a filter.
The Crazyflie Client detects the PS3 controller under "input devices" but when I toggle the controles non of the feedback bars show any moment and the same applies to mapping.
I did have it detecting the input movements but then the client crashed, ive tried everything i can think of to get it to work, I even downloaded the VM fresh and tried it again but to no avail.

Ok, it would seem that the crazyflie client software works once and once only with the PS3 controller, then I can never get it to take the stick input even thought it is showing up under "Input device --> Devices --> Sony PLAYSTATION(R)3 Controller".
I have to re-install the virtual machine to get it working again.

Any ideas please?

Did you try pressing the PS button in the middle of the controller? This is normally needed to get input from the controller.
