So I first purchased the crazyflie about 5 months ago (5/18/13) and have had amazing results with it.. just recently I saw that they now offer a 10dof version with the ability to altitude hold.. well I ordered another one back in august (8/10/13) and it just came in on (10/8/13).. on the box it does have a sticker saying 10dof as compared to the older one which does not.. now my question is how do you physically tell if it is a 10dof or not.. both crazyflie electronics and components are exactly the same and perform the same flight characteristics and controllability.. I was just wondering if I really have a 10dof or if it was just a sticker slapped on to an old crazyflie.

Ive got no clue what the 6DOF version looks like, but if you look at the schematics http://wiki.bitcraze.se/projects:crazyf ... schematics of the component placement top and the general schematics pdf you will see:

On page two of schematics.pdf: U4 and U5 are not mounted on the 6DOF version.
Then on component_placement_top.pdf you can see the location of U4 and U5.

So if I were you, I would look at both flies side by side, locate where U4 or U5 should be (align it to the image by having the USB port facing up/north), and see if they are blank or filled
