Wasps. No, really.

Post by bluejaytech »

This one's going to sound like a joke, it really isn't. I've been flying my Crazyflie for most of the summer with no issues, other than about a hundred crashes and a pissed off cat. But last week something pretty strange started happening. After a couple of minutes flying it around inside my workshop, I noticed a big yellow jacket hanging out on the screen door. Didn't think anything of it, but then it happened again a couple of days later. This morning there were two, and one found it's way inside (which, apparently, has caused permanent psychological trauma for my six-year-old daughter). I've never really noticed any wasps in the area before, and it makes me laugh to think the buzzing from the copter is what might be attracting them...but it's funny enough to share and figured I'd ask if anyone's noticed anything similar?

Hmmm, maybe we need to change the name to CrazyWasp, and a little misspelled so "CrazyWazp" :D
