Add a non-linear least squares method to the "crossing beam" location method

Post by gahagaha »

Hello, I want to use the least square method to optimize the distance between the rays emitted by the two lighthouse basestations in the "crossing beam" location method. Do you think it is feasible?

The Kalman filter is basically doing this already and is the default method used. The crossing beam method is mainly intended if more "raw" data is needed that does not take into account the other sensors information which the Kalman filer also is using.
