Is it possible to remove the YAW control from the analog stick and make the shoulder buttons (R2 & L2, or R1 & L1) control it instead?

I'd like to experiment with using those buttons for yaw as I find the analog stick tends to give some YAW with the throttle if you are not precise with it.

I've looked at the json files but it looks like YAW can only be done on an analog basis.

Just configure your controller. Works for me with original DS3 sixaxis and xinput wrapper drivers...
And is't probably configurable from motioninjoy, just select axis supported by cfclient (I tried few until it worked)
