Just seeding the developers with more ideas.

some of my Quadcopters have the ability to Decode the signal from a Spektrum SAT rX. this is a very clean setup when using Spektrum based transmitters such as the DX6, DX8 etc.

some info http://wiki.openpilot.org/display/Doc/S ... +Satellite

does the Crazyflie hardware have the ability to be configured to do this ?

would be VERY cool.

Would have been very neat but from my understanding this is not possible with the nRF24L01+ chip we use. I think Spektrum use DSS modulation and the nRF GFSK. What could be done is to make the Crazyradio work as a transmitter module that you could attach to you transmitter.

Ahh I see, what you suggested would be perfect for me. Glad that is an option. Thank you for reading and responding :-)

We have some experimental code that can make the Crazyradio work as a transmmitter module but it needs more work. Also attching it to the transmitter would be a bit hackish. Hopefully someone could design a case that could be 3D printed to make it look neat.

I am a Mechanical designer, when my kit arrives I can model a case for 3D print for the Crazyradio I just need to see the interface. I probably can design it to clip onto the bent metal tube on the top of the dx8. :ugeek:
