Hi!
I got my CF this weekend and flew around a couple of times on both saturday and sunday.
On Sunday night i left it in the charger and went to bed.
Monday morning i tried to turn it on and nothing happend.
So i unplugged the charger and left for work. got back from work (and a football game, we won!) and tried again. still nothing.
tested both with the battery and the usb connected and disconnected, all four variants (yes, both unplugged too

)

Hi,
Could you try re-flashing the firmware like
in this post and see if it helps?

Unfotunely not. The CF does not start. no LEDs flashing or anything. so the bootloader is unable to find it.
Allthough today when i tried to plug in the usb cable it started like normal and i figured i'd let it charge for a while scince the green led was blinking. then i looked away for like two minuites and then its dead again..

So if you unplug the battery and only connect the Crazyflie using USB none of the LEDs light up?

I tried connecting it with USB again nut now and the blue led flashed for a split second and then it all went dark again.

Ok. And even if the blue LED is not lit up the propellers don't spin when you plug it in? Are you using a USB hub without external power? If you have a micro-USB charger for your phone could you try that instead?
Do you have a multimeter? If so could you measure the voltage of VCC? Have a look at
the top placement, you can either use P5 or P6. On P6 VCC on is pin 1 and DGNG is on pin 9. Could you also measure the VUSB voltage that's on P8?

the usb power is not the issue. i've tried both my computer, my laptop and my charger

no, no propellers spinning.
I did some measuring yesterday.
if i remember correctly
the VUSB was 5V (im pretty sure about this one)
VCC was about 0.78 V maybe 1.78V
I'll do some more measuring tonight

Now i've done some measuring on the CF
VCC - 0.35 V (on both P5 and P6)
VUSB - 4.99 V
1.78 was the voltage on the battery pins.

Any ideas?
could it be a faulty power management chip?
