Hi guys,

Recently, I was trying to mount a FPV camera on crazyflie. I bought a fpv camera: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XJMQQ6Y and a receiver: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07NNH93NX. I can read the video on Windows OS using the receiver. But how can I receive the video on Linux? Do I need some driver for this receiver? Thanks!

Yup, where are you from? because it's might be not illegal in your country since I hacked it by software interface and it's not legal to all countries, it's online software client.

Additionally, I may not understand your project so my advices/software client wouldn't help ya, could ya explain to me what u're exactly doing? I may share you my PDF since I've already done like ur project(if I understand it right) before two years.

and does it matter if you done your project on Ubuntu 18?

Hi Ryan, I am in the U.S. now. My PC system is Ubuntu 16.06 now. My goal for now is to use crazyflie and FPV camera to do some vision-based navigation with ROS. So I need the camera's video transimitted back to laptop.

Aiight Hanbo Chen, but what are your camera wifi type? digital or analog? is it used as a server or as a host for transmitting wifi to your laptop? I mean in other words how does your laptop connect to FPV camera? what type of drone you're trying to use? because I've done with crazyflie bitcraze drone.

This FPV camera is used its transmitter to send signal. The laptop can use the receiver https://www.amazon.com/EACHINE-ROTG02-R ... 602&sr=8-5to receive the video.

But it seems like only windows and Mac system can use this receiver on laptop. I want to use this my Ubuntu16.04 laptop to receive my camera's video. This is where confused me.

have you tried to download software called fpv crazyflie application? if not, download it and it should work and starting streaming ur video to laptop by this application.
it's found on phone, but you can download it on Ubuntu.

Could you give me a download link of this application? I did not find it on web. Thanks
