Using Ubuntu 12.04@GK802 as base station for Crazyflie

Post by farcop »

Hello there!

As you probably know Russianpost terribly delays all mailings, so I am still waiting my Crazyflie so far...
So I had a lot of time to prepare to fly.

I has GK802 multi-core media player, featuring the quad-core i.MX 6 SOC, 1Gib of RAM, USB-host, 2 microSD slots and running Android 4 on it.

I just compiled Ubuntu 12.04 preview image as described here http://jas-hacks.blogspot.ru/2013/04/im ... image.html and installed CFclient on it. With Xbox360 Wireless joystick it works well.

Just one issue is bugging me: xboxdrv and cfclient works only from sudo, so it cant load xboxdrv automaticly...

Hey farcop,

cool setup you got there! Had to laugh at the cable tied heatsink though :D

I solved this a while back for my setup on the Raspberry Pi, see here :)
