No response from sensors and motors

Post by emilwareus »

Hi!

I recently got a CF2.0 and I am trying to get it to fly. I can connect it to the client (windows, linuxVM and android) and update the embedded firmware.
But I don't get any readings from the sensors to the client and I am not able to send fly-commands to the CF through any of these clients. I don't seem to get any errors in the command windows as well.

Any clue what I could do?

Kind regards,

Emil

My initial guess is some form of version mismatch. In the cfclient do you get information in the console when you connect to the CF2?

Yes,

I get this:
SYS: ----------------------------
SYS: Crazyflie 2.0 is up and running!
SYS: Build 0:47ee696b2d3c (2018.10) MODIFIED
SYS: I am 0x313139313535511300330042 and I have 1024KB of flash!
CFGBLK: v1, verification [OK]
DECK_DRIVERS: Found 16 drivers
DECK_INFO: Found 0 deck memory.
DECK_CORE: 0 deck enumerated
MPU9250 I2C connection [OK].
AK8963 I2C connection [OK].
LPS25H I2C connection [OK].
ESTIMATOR: Using estimator 1
CONTROLLER: Using controller 1
EEPROM: I2C connection [OK].
AK8963: Self test [OK].
SYS: Free heap: 16056 bytes

This is with version Cfclient 2018.10.

I still get no response from any sensors in the client, and I can't control the CF through the client or the Android app.

Thanks!

Emil

Have you put the Crazyflie on a stable surface to let it calibrate? The M1 red led should then start blinking with 2Hz.

Hi again,
Sorry for the slow response.

Yes I have tried that, and it Blinks in 2 HZ.
I work in Malmö and can come by with my CF if that could help us figure it out?
