BARO in LPE node

Dear all,
I have a question about LPE node. I saw that there is a baro in the node board. What is this baro used for?

It's currently not used but we have an idea to improve pressure readings with differential pressure. Also it can be useful during auto configuration of the system later to know what is up and down.
