Hey guys I just got my Crazyflie yesterday got it all assembled but found I didn't have a controller readily available to work. I searched the forms and found mention of an android app that can be used for a joystick "Driodmote". I had installed driodmote and used it but found it lacked for response none the less I picked up the Xbox controller today but on configuring the Crazyflie PC software for the controller I have started to get an error and since can no longer choose any other type of controller in the list? Any Ideas?

I think that you might have the issue mentioined here. Deleting the specified directories should fix this. The "Load config" functionality is unfortunately broken in this version but has been fixed in the repository. This fix will be included in the next version.
