Anyone got any idea what this (presumably) resistor or diode did? It is no longer attached to my still functioning crazyflie (i.e., no mods like ultrasound etc, but still flies perfectly with python pc client.)

Just curious

Another Crazyflier

According to this component placement image that is the C9 capacitor and according to this schematic it is part of U1 decoupling. According to this wikipedia page, it seems it is probably used to reduce noise from other parts of the system. Now, this is all a guess because I don't know a whole lot about micro-electronics!

This is a filter capacitor to filter out ripples in the supply voltage. It's not that a huge deal in general. Can just lead to some errors when you have high load or other noise.
