[SOLVED] CF 2.0 does not turn on

Hi, yesterday I got my new CF 2.0
I installed all Windows Drivers für the Dongle, assembled the CF 2.0 and then I wanted to test it.
When pushing the small Power button nothing is happening, when connectiong the battery all motors are spinning but after pushing the button no LEDs light up. When connecting to USB the CF initiates the selftest -> blue Leds light up permanently, green LED lights up five times and red LED flashes continiously. When connected to USB I can switch off and on via Power Switch. But I have no chance to turn the Flie on when not connected to USB.
What can I do to get the Flie up in the air?

So it does not work when connected to a battery? So something is not working with the battery. Please inspect the soldering of the cables to the PCB. Is the red cable connected to + sign?

The battery is working well. Otherwise the motors would not turn. I also tryed the three sparebatteries i ordered additional.

Does the motors spin as soon as you connect the battery? This would probably happen if the polarity was wrong. Please check if the red cable is connected to the pad marked with a +. It's the pad closest to the USB connector.
Soldring the battery cable is a human step in production so this could probably happen. How it would pass ispection and tests is another question...
You now how a couple of alternatives.
1. Contact Seeedstudio support to get it fixed/replaced.
2. Fix it your self by desoldering the battery cables and soldering them correctly again. Can be tricky and requires soldering tools and knowledge.
3. Swap the pins in the connector. Pretty easy but the cable colors at the connector will not match anymore which might be a bit confusing.

you saved christmas ^^
As you said the Polarity of the soldered cabels was wrong. I swapped the pins and the Flie turns on now.

Herr Matze, you might want to
add "[SOLVED]" to the front of the thread subject line? As in: [SOLVED] CF 2.0 does not turn on
This helps makes it clear a solution has been found for this thread.
