Cutting Motor Wires

I'd like to cut the motor wires to remove some of the excess length. Is there a problem created within your allowance for resistance or anything other which would prohibit my shortening the motor wires?

Or would there be a problem caused if I wound the excess motor wire length around the individual arms?

Thanks.

Cutting the motor wires should not cause any issue electrically, but it dose seem better in my limited experience to have a little bit of play in the wires as they seem to get damaged quite easily as the plastic sheath is of a soft compound.

I shortened the wires a bit so i didn't have wrap them or have them dangling. I left some allowance for flexibility so that the wires don't get stressed during crashes.
