I selected "DHL rates" (at least according to my order confirmation). Seeedstudio sent me a shipping notification on April 27th and the tracking number on the 28th. It would have been delivered on May 2nd had I been at home, got it instead on May 4th. If I remember correctly, I did not get any real tracking updates until April 30th.

I'm still waiting, too. I choose HK Airmail and Mail tracking (HK Post) says: "The item is pending customs inspection at the destination as of 3-May-2013." :?
I guess it takes so long because they check it for explosives!
I ordered spare Motors/Propellers and a LiPo, too. I think that looks strange in the X-ray device of the customs inspection :D

The first Mail tracking (DHL(Germany)) entry was: Mon, 29.04.2013 18:00 h The shipment has arrived at the parcel center of origin.
Current entry is: Fri, 03.05.2013 17:15 h IPZ-Ffm(Frankfurt am Main) The shipment has arrived in the destination country.

In joyful anticipation,
Sascha

I've got it too! Copenhagen, Denmark. I am crazy about it! :geek: And I haven't even assembled it yet. Waiting for a friend of mine with a soldering station to come visit. Hopefully in the weekend. :D

Now I have mine too. I got it yesterday.
And the best tax free! No problems with the customs (ZOLL) for all german CF users :D
But the shipping took 12 days. (With Holidays). I choose Hong Kong Airmail (cheapest  ).

Mine arrived on Friday after a painful wait to receive it after shipping notification!

After considering the pictures of the motor pads, I broke out a microscope to help with the soldering. I think that was required for me or I'd have likely made a mess!. Assembled everything from your pictorials without a hitch. Excellent job on getting things documented!

Installed wireless XBox 360 controller, verified operation, and followed your instructions to install PC client under Windows 7 (64-bit). A flawless installation - well done!

Also installed the virtual machine under VMware to make way for experimentation, like the hover branch posted a few days ago! Had some trouble there getting the XBox settings to stick, probably because the VM window was too small to show the whole client and I missed a clickbox.

Had everything working on Saturday evening, amazing!Spent some time adjusting parameters for the XBox controller, flying indoors.

As part of a family gathering on Mother's Day, three 22-31 yr olds were over and they took an immediate interest in the Crazyflie on the shelf. They wanted a demo, which gave way to all four of us flying it. Generally, all were all much better at hovering than I was.

I'm amazed to say, the Crazyflie remains in perfect condition after three charges! Looking forward to some bumpers for protection!

This is a pretty darn cool project so far! Looking forward to more fun! :D

I really appreciate these forums and all the great support offered up!

Just my thoughts! Thanks

Rich

Good news: No additional taxes, although I live in Germany. However it was shipped already 18! days ago.. Was a long and painfull wait ;)
