Altitude Hold driver setup?

Post by vestige »

Hi

I have just found out that there is a firmware about the altitude Hold. I have download the Firmware from this http://forum.bitcraze.se/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=721 (Crazyflie_2013.11-beta1.bin) but i confuse my self that where to put this firmware in which file? I'm currently run on bitcraze VM0.4. Furthermore, Do i need to download the (cfclient-2013.11-beta1.tar.gz) as well?. Im currently use the latest firmware and client now

I just wonder that in the cfclient there is a attitude control option under the basic flight control how to use that option?

Ps. I currently a noob so I apologies for making stupid question :D

Thankyou

HI

Thankyou Tobias. I have read the link you give. I have a problem that when I raise it to current altitude and press L1 and hold for couple sec then I release then the copter stop I have to hold L1 button. After that when I want to do new altitude. I can't use thrust button only i can use it L1 button. how can i reset it?

Thankyou

It is programmed so that one have to hold the altitude hold button as the altitude hold mode can be a bit unreliable, a type of safety feature. When you release the altitude hold button you will have to apply manual thrust again.
