port Q1 not working`

Post by Albert96 »

The motor M1 is not working at all. I have tried other motors on the same port which worked on the other ports. There is no output voltage from port Q1.

The output on the console:
The output on the console is:

It sounds like a problem with Q1. Does the Q1 transistor look or smell burnt? You can test the transistor similar to what is described in this thread. Please report back.

They look fine, but this port was not working even when I tried before soldering. After I got it I thought it could be a connection problem and soldering could solve it, but without any luck it seems to still be not working. So ultimately it is not working, is there anything I can do with these part?

Could you post a close-up picture of the PCB, Q1's side up?

If it is an hardware error open a support case at Seeedstudio and they will help you out by fixing it or replacing it.

Hi,
Here is the PCB
The soldering from port Q1 has been removed recently, due to trying to fix it, will re solder if there is any way to get it to work
thanks for the help appreciate it, hope I will be able to return the favour someday
And yes I contacted seed studio but they have stopped replying, I find that really bad customer support, not what I had expected.

Hi,

Could you try taking another picture that is sharper so it's possible to see the soldering on the PCB?
