Disconnection in the swarm

Post by wslwsl »

When we operate the multiple crazyflie 2.1 using swam, one or two of them sometimes are disconnected.
I'm afraid that I'll run into disconnection issues in an important demonstration.
Is there any way to solve the problem?

hi! How many crazyflies are in your swarm and how many crazyradio PAs do you have? If you are using mulitple PAs, are all of them on a different channel?

Do you have any more radios at hands that you can add to your setup so that each radios handle 3 Crazyflies.

Are you using the python lib or crazyswarm/ROS?

We have seen random radios issues but they are very hard to track and very inconsistent. I does seems that Mac computer have more issues that PCs, are you using a Mac?

It could also simply be that you are communicating too much data and that one radio is not enough, in that case adding a second radio will definitely help.
