Bitcraze VM 0.4 not working
Re: Bitcraze VM 0.4 not working
Hi,
Before I explain my problem, I wanted to say that I really like the crazyflie and think that it is a tremendous piece of engineering.
Unfortunately I seem to be having the same problems as MileHighEye but with the VM v0.5. I downloaded and updated all software when asked by the updater but I did not upgrade the distribution.
Also I installed the VirtualBox 4.3.12 Oracle VM VirtualBox Extension Pack.
Is there anything I forgot to do as I cannot seem to pass neither controller (Xbox 360 with wireless pc adapter) or the dongle to the Vm.
EDIT: Also after trying to attach the devices to the VM the client on the host (win7 x64) does not recognize the usb devices either. Though dongle and flie still work fine when used on my android phone and android client.
Any advice? Thanks in advance.

Re: Bitcraze VM 0.4 not working
Hi,
There seems to be a known bug in the latest version of VirtualBox for windows that affects the USB. You can try to uninstall and re-install a previous version (like 4.2), old versions are available on http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/
I tried to run the VM in vmware player but unfortunatly I get no graphics. We will make sure to have the next version of the VM compatible with Vbox and VMware to have some backup solutions ...
