I just received my crazyflie kit, prior to assembling following the wiki instructions I connected it to the usb port of my laptop but nothing happened, it is not even recognized as unknown device. i tried to installed the driver as a legacy driver but still computer seems not to notice any device connected. Leds are blinking as per the wiki.

Hi,
There's still no firmware for the Crazyflie USB so it should not be detected by Windows. But the Crazyradio dongle should be. Installing the Crazyradio drivers on Windows 8 is a bit trickier since Windows 8 has to be rebooted into a special mode to accept unsigned drivers. There's more info on the Wiki.
