My crazyflie 2.0 which I have used for a week or so just failed the self-test when I turned it on. I've never crashed this one (i've crashed another one twice though) and it's never had any problems before. What should I do?

Have you checked the console output in the cfclient, it should tell you which test failed? Sometimes there are false positives if the CF2 is moved too much during test or if there is a magnetic field close by.
