had issues where i couldn't get the VM to work with the radio. The solution for me was to uninstall the latest version of Oracle Virtual box (4.2.12) download 4.1.26 and the extension pack that matches and then install them. Start VB, click on the bitcraze virtual machine, click settings, click on USB, and finally click on enable usb 2.0 controller. Start the bitcraze VM and make sure the radio is ticked in devices in VB.
As soon as i did that i could connect to the CF with no issues if anyone has had similar problems and are still having them please post here if this fixed the issue for you.
