have driver, no joy

So, I have my board, it looks good with the blue-green and flashing red lights. I have my dongle, which briefly flashes when I plug it in.

I have my driver installed, as verified on the device manager.

I "think" I have pyusb installed properly, although that was a bit tricky and I am not sure I did it correctly? Did the python setup.py install from the command line?

run the client software, seems fine. It does NOT connect when I say connect, and the lights on the board show no change. If I wait long enough I get a recurring message in the python command line message box showing:

QAccessableWidget::rect: This implementation does not support subelements! (ID 4 unknown for QMenuBar)

The ID number varies and ranges from 2 to 6.

Windows 8.1

So, what do I do? I really want to be able to fly! ooops, flie!

Sad, Sad, Sad.

No one seems to have any idea what is wrong, or if they do they can't help me.

So all I can do is return the Flie, I guess.

Very very sad :(

Can you use the VM in VirtualBox to fly? Maybe if you can connect with the VM, you can verify the hardware is working right... I know nothing about Windows really, so I'm sorry I can't help with the driver issue... It would be a shame if you couldn't fly at all, given so many ways to do it...

Hi,

When you scan for the Crazyflie does the Crazyradio LEDs blink? If the driver is installed correctly then the red LED should blink when scanning. Can you see the Crazyradio device in the device manager?
