Hi all,
Trying to use rviz to fly the prototype Crazyflie, but it uses the normal firmware so I imagine will work much like a regular CF.
The drone is not responding to take off instructions, and the console is giving this error, in orange:
Global status: warning
Fixed frame
No tf data. Actual error: Fixed Frame [crazyflie/base_link] does not exist
Is this what is preventing the takeoff, has anyone had it before and does anyone know how to solve it? Thank you very much in advance.
I don't think it is the same issue as viewtopic.php?t=2384

Hi,
What do you mean by prototype Crazyflie? How modified is it and have you verified using the Crazyflie client that everything was working?
As for ROS, I have not used it for a while, but I would advise you to look at Crazywarm instead: https://crazyswarm.readthedocs.io/en/latest/. It is ROS based so it is a way to connect a Crazyflie in ROS, but it should be more maintained than the ROS crazyflie integration.

The issue I stated was not actually preventing drone flight. I had the drone and the controller working on different frequencies - oops.
Thank you for your help.
