I have hacked together "lost mode" for the crazyflie. When connection is lost, after a set period of time the motors will start to make a sound.
Code is messy I was just playing with the melody feature that Surrender made in another post.
Pretty new to real time stuff and when the motors are playing a sound the flie will refuse to reconnect/crash. I have now put in a delay between each play of the sound to give you more of a chance to reconnect.
