Unable to run "make" to flash in Bitcraze VM Eclipse

I'm having some trouble getting myself up and running. When I try to either clean or flash the crazyflie in Eclipse, I keep getting the same problem telling me "Cannot run program "make": Unknown reason". As far as I can tell, everything is as it's supposed to be, but obviously I'm missing something pretty important. Is there somewhere that I should be looking at to solve this problem? Any ideas? Thanks!

If you run make in a terminal does it work then?

Yes, I did end up getting it to work exactly like that. Eclipse is not always my friend, it seems. Thank you for answering a question for me so loosely related to the rest of it.
