Hi everybody
Today I finished a milestone of my current project, and I thought that somebody here might be interested.
I'm using an AMG8833 infrared sensor, reading a horizontal slice, and producing a vector for the CF to follow. This is just the first proof of concept, and I'm currently only reading 8 picels out of the available 64 of the sensor. BUT it works, and that's a start. Processing is happening on the computer using cflib. Will post more when there is something interesting to see.

CF with thermal vision, proof of concept.
Re: CF with thermal vision, proof of concept.
That looks really nice. Something we have been wanting to play around with a well. Nice to see someone else do it!
When the multi-ranger is finished pair them up so you can find and track heat sources without bumping in to things!

I'm lucky enough to have a early access OA, so that's already on the way. Checking whether the surroundings i brick or meat is exactly the plan.tobias wrote: ↑Mon Apr 30, 2018 11:10 am
