Electrical Specification for Expansion Port

Post by whoenig »

Hi,
I looked in the wiki to find the supported voltage range for the various expansion ports (e.g., UART, I2C). I can't find any nominal/maximum ratings specified (see, e.g., https://wiki.bitcraze.io/projects:crazy ... ards:index, https://wiki.bitcraze.io/projects:crazy ... cification).

Specifically, can I use UART2 with 3.3V levels?

Thanks!

Yes, you can use anything with 3.3V without problem.

This is a good point that we are not specifying it anywhere, where do you think would be the best to document electrical specs (ie. where did you look first : )?

Thanks - that's good to know!

I think it might make sense to add it in this section: https://wiki.bitcraze.io/projects:crazy ... ort_pinout (this is where I looked first).
